Mia Naprta – Content Provider & Linguistic Expert
Meet Mia Naprta, a versatile and experienced member of our Sofia project team. Born in the now non-existent country of Yugoslavia, specifically from the serene and unexplored region of Lika in Croatia, Mia brings a unique perspective to our work. Her journey has taken her from the historic cities of Oxford and London, where she honed her skills in English and Journalism, to the vibrant markets of the UK's food and drink industry, specializing in sugar and chocolate confectionery. Her friends often joked that she was paid to eat chocolate and write about it – a job many would envy!
Seeking sunnier skies and a slower pace of life, Mia, along with her partner, explored various sunny locales across Europe before settling in Palma in 2015. While her professional background predominantly revolves around market analysis and numbers, her passion for writing has always been at the forefront. From blogging and crafting opinion pieces for UK trade publications to writing travel articles for a Croatian lifestyle magazine, Mia's diverse writing experience is a testament to her adaptability and depth of knowledge.
Since January 2021, she has been a regular contributor to The Islander Magazine, and her excitement is palpable as she embarks on the new challenge of writing for Mallorca Bulletin. Mia's expertise in content creation and her linguistic prowess make her an invaluable asset to our Sofia project, where her insights and creativity help bring Sophia to life in a way that resonates with our diverse audience. -
